ATEX - Standards and Harmonised Status

Bedford Opto Technology Ltd. are very much aware of the harmonisation and deharmonisation of the standards used in the design and manufacture of it's ATEX Opto-Isolators. We decided at a very early stage to include our designated Notified Body to ensure our Opto-Isolators fulfilled the requirements of the standards applicable to it's product.

In October 2007 we received Supplementary EC-Type Examination Certificates:-
    BAS01ATEX1278U/2 that relates to - OPI110 Series
                                                           OPI1264 Series
                                                           OPI1000L Series
    BAS01ATEX1285U/3 that relates to - OPI2000M / OPI2000MTH
These confirm the re-examination of our Opto-Isolators and their compliance in all respects with:-
    EN60079-0:2006                EN61241-0:2006
    EN60079-11:2007              EN61241-11:2006
    EN60079-26:2004
